Dear donors, partners, and our circles of supporters,

Many of you have reached out in recent days with concerns about the impact of the government shutdown and the loss of SNAP benefits for some of our families. Please be assured, we will not allow any of the children we serve to go hungry.

Our leadership team mobilized weeks ago, preparing for this possibility. Because our chapter is rooted in community partnerships and collaboration with other human services, we can easily utilize the food sources of Family Service, MRM, and the Montana Food Bank.

If there are gaps in food security after our families have utilized these resources, we will make sure their cupboards are filled, thanks to the generosity of a board member and donor.

While times are uncertain, we move forward with confidence and compassion, guided by our core value of Putting Children First. If you’re able, please consider giving this month to help us continue meeting the basic needs of the children and families we serve.
