Jessie grew up in Lake Isabella, CA and moved to Montana fresh out of high school in 2012. She has lived here for 11 years and most of that time was spent in eastern, rural Montana before moving to Billings. Jessie went to Miles Community College for business management but as she grew older and the opportunity came around, followed her passion for helping people and started her career in mental/behavioral health with Youth Dynamics. She started working directly with youth as a counselor in a therapeutic group home where she learned of the importance of planting seeds of hope and new perspectives. Jessie is honored to have had the opportunity to walk alongside so many youth and their families on their healing journey.
Jessie is currently working on her B.S. in psychology at MSU Billings. She is a mom of four kiddos that keep her on her toes with all of their activities and endless energy. In her downtime Jessie enjoys hiking, playing music, sewing, and reading. She comes from a family that is very proud of their Scottish/Irish heritage and there is an Irish saying that fits well with her journey in this field that goes "Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine" which means “In the shelter of each other, people survive”.
