Angela Taft joins Friends of the Children–Eastern Montana in February 2026, bringing more than three years of experience in child welfare. Prior to joining Friends of the Children, she worked with Child and Family Services in Hardin, where she supported children and families through compassionate, relationship-centered work. Angela is deeply committed to building strong, trusting relationships and connecting families with meaningful resources and services that support long-term success.
In addition to her child welfare background, Angela is an experienced entrepreneur who has founded multiple small businesses, including a daycare and two clothing boutiques. Through these ventures, she developed strong skills in leadership, business development, and community engagement—experience that enhances her collaborative and solution-focused approach to her work.
A Montana native, Angela proudly calls the state home. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Human Services and Psychology from Montana State University Billings. Angela is a wife and mother of three. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family hiking, backpacking, fishing, snowboarding, reading, and enjoys coffee.
